Senegalese percussionist Thione Diop’s Afro Groove is a new band band mixing West African rhythms with other world music influences including Afro-Cuban, New Orleans and other parts of Africa.
This ensemble fuses World musical sounds with rootsy percussions, a dynamic horn section, an urging rhythm section and spirited vocals.
